I know.
Do you need 5 seats? I've always fancied importing a Z3 Coupe with the 3.0 motor, because I'd feel like a 90s German going for some touristfarting every time I drove it. Dishy BBSs and you'd be so fucking cool.

Not enough cylinders. No turbos. Pfar.

This week I've been driving this:
Then a family friend lent me his Model X.
Model X wins. The Mustang has serious turbo lag. But its been comfy enough to drive 1000 miles in a week.
Ludicrous mode- amazing.
Self-driving- fucking terrifying- not quite there yet.

Easy answer...why didn't we get this before....MG ZT 280.. Cheap robust mechanicals and loads of easy upgrades to the engine. 500hp if you fit a supercharger easy....

And yes I always fancied a W8, but the auto box is so slow witted it spoils it.

Well, of the two Alpine B10 Tourings for sale in the UK one went this morning and the dealer who has the other one is neither responding to email nor answering the telephone.
Fucksticks.

Can you PM the owner on a forum? Presumably the dealer sells it on behalf of someone?

There is also the estate version, have driven one and it was fun...monaro has been mentioned also.

I'm in touch with the previous owner via the Alpina Register, he sold it to a collector in Berkshire, it's now for sale at a dealer in Dorset. That's all I know, bit surprised at a dealer not responding to an explicit inquiry to buy, not a great sign.

Very strange as those cars are presumably quite hard to shift, at least for decent monies.

Is there any way I can sell a car/motorbike and keep the license plate rights?
-
• #34743
Do it. Just for our sake

Not doing anything unless the Volvo sells, so far no interest.
-
• #34745
There must be, you see plenty of adverts saying "private plate not included"

Test drove the 220 bhp dsg Superb today. Nice car, overall.
Interior is on the functional side but it's comfortable and rapid enough for a big family car. Was quite impressed with the body control, much better than the Passat.
I've ordered one.

A2, had both a 1.4 petrol and 75bhp diesel. The petrol is by far the smoothest and quietest but always niggly faults with the engine, never did get is sorted and through £1000 at it.
The diesel is noisy but super efficient 60mpg plus now it is warmer. Not so good in winter with the webasto. I've OSS, leather, lumber and 4 ew . Getting a good spec keeps the value up.
I'd stay away from the FSI, it was Audi's first and is trouble some.
They really are a good city car practical and cheap. Only on the 4 seater do the seats come out. It takes about 30secs.
The owners club is always busy and helpful, often with cars for sale.
Maybe if there was a better gearbox.
