1. I think 180bhp is the sweet spot for the K series. Anything less doesn't feel interesting, anything more is awkward on the road and has a habit of chewing itself up.
   
   

Obvs they should have fitted an XE like proper Caterhams have, but other than that it's good and the extra power of the S2 isn't worth the clumsier look.

Total damage in the end was just under £3k. Hopefully that'll mean things are sorted for a while now.

I think i still have 1 3/4 Mazeratis....

The interiors are the nicest and plushest leather ever.

Seems odd ti replace so many arms and links to cure clonking and not the top mounts of struts themselves. Unless they are those mad 4c jobs in which case prob better just burning it down and getting another £££ lol

Well, it's done the trick, so I'm busy not complaining. I suspect the real cause of the clonking was the leaking damper which was buggering up the hydraulic damper interlinking system, but replacing worn suspension bushes is never a bad thing in my view.

Took mondeo for an MOT, guess what was wrong?

Don't like it, too many grilles and spoilers etc, and the arches look too big for the wheels. Would take a 3200GT over that.

With regards to the car, fine - I did just get charged £300 for a wheel build for my cross bike when I provided the hub and the rim, so feeling a little shell-shocked there.

Sadly I think those are pig-ugly, with ungainly lines, that ugly snout and pointy headlamps. The interior isn't special enough either. Maseratis newer than the Bora do nothing for me.

Specifying spokes that cost £3.65 each as part of the build, and presumably having wheels requiring quite a few of them.
