Anyone in or near Redruth who could collect four wheels for me and store them until I can get there with the car?

Panda 100 are on my list for city car for the misses, none round me at all, but tick the boxes and I'm familiar with the 1.4 16 in those.

Not many about and half of them seem unrealistically priced. Look out for rusty rear beams, other than that very well put together.

See also Lupo 1.4 16v sport. So much fun round town. Mine was the full length sunroof jobbie too.

saw that video earlier in the week and it made me laugh on the inside.

I had a few friends with Lupo Sports, they were cool.
I have tried to buy a GTI on a few occasions but anything that's unmolested is slightly barmy money wise now.

There's a lot of this to wash.

Hey it's going great.
I've put somewhere between 700 and 1000 miles on it already :o
In that time the battery has gone from being perfectly fine while parked overnight to running out of juice within 5 minutes of parking and then not having enough to turn over the engine.
I drove to North Wales and back this weekend and on the last 10-15 miles home today it was so weak that even turning on the indicators while stationary wore it down so much the ignition timing started going funny :o
I also lost a large piece of the peeling bonnet paint and replaced a wiper blade and developed an exhaust leak while doing a little bit of green laning to get around road closures and access mad trails.
Edit:also must sort out numberplate visibility.

How's the porker spending sweepstake standing? Have we hit 20k yet?

Snowfoam consistency needs dialling in. If you insist on washing your car in winter, that is.

drove le rover to wales and back. surprisingly comfy on the motorway if a little ponderous.
the landbrover nods, flashes and thumbs-ups are getting a bit cringey.

What about the bike rack. And the roof holder for the wall?
And the upcoming cost of a new key...
-
• #31096
I'd forgotten about that, the hardtop holder was £25, the roof transport system was £300 and the bike racks where probably another £300.

They seem like a decent bunch to me, you can have my stalk-set if you want?
-
• #31099
Thanks but we'll need a 4 stalk too as he already has the computer.
Odd spec if you ask me, non cruise on that car is a nightmare because if you twitch your foot you jump 10mph, which can take you from "speeding-not ban" to "speeding-ban" without noticing, and I don't think you can get out of it by saying, "oh sorry, I wasn't paying attention and a small leg spasm caused me to accelerate into triple figures."

I use cruise as often as I can, motorways are dull unless we're talking prison speeds.
Hope this is going well, I had an AX GT and it was fantastic. Twin choke and a £25 Pipercross air filter seemed to make it twice as fast. Has it got those bands in the front doors? Legend has it that the door pockets were shaped to carry a standard bottle of wine.
Just about to get rid of one of my other best cars evar for an Abarth 500. Hope I don't regret it. This thing has been bloody awesome and seems to do everything well.
