  • That is a mega rad.

  • Do I spy twin-charge?

    Nice. Not done enough.

Worth a read through his project thread, he's using two electronic throttles, Supercharger gives 10PSI from idle and is then progressively bypassed as the turbine spools.

    It's really, really impressive.

  • Oh that is clever. Bedtime reading sorted for tonight. Cheers!

  • Here's some LOLs for everyone

  • Ouch!

  • wish I could afford E28. want really bad.

  • I'm currently renting a Fiat 500.

    1. you can just about get a bike in the back, probably easily if you took both wheels off, and maybe even two.
Without taking the wheels off its a 1 person car.
    2. Its a great little car, makes you smile even at 25, and I can only assume I've got a tiny little engine in it.
  • When Xander rescued me from hospital a few years back we definitely got 2 in the back, and three people in the car. One of the people was small though.

Bit of chemical metal, that will be fine.

  • Spotted this today. Immaculate condition.

    Yes please.

Yep its a great car. I have fit 3 bikes and a passenger in there before with luggage.

Im actually thinking about selling mine soon if anyone wants to buy one! 17k miles, owned since new, regular service.

Ive outgrown it now. need something bigger..........got something much bigger lined up

  • Punto

  • The new 500L?

  • Got it... Huracan

  • Mazda Bongo?

  • I want a Sirocco. Test drove a TDI 177 R Line DSG at the weekend, and loved it.
Is there any good reason I should resist this temptation?

Inside is a bit boring, but thats the only con i could come up with.

  • I'm sick of seeing copies of that jacket at car events.

haha, like all those cunts who go to cycling races in Rapha jackets and little cycling caps

It's no more boring than a lot of other similarly priced cars. If you like it, and you need a new car, then go for it!

Well, i decided against a beemer, as I just couldn't bring myself to be a beemer driver.... And I think I want something a bit smaller and more fun.
I cant get my bikes in the back, but dont mind this as i can just fork out for a pair of See Sucker roof racks which come on and off in under a minute, so there is no ball ache roof rack set-up to deal with (and look awful).

I'm only really asking you lot as someone will very quickly point out to me if there is something I have missed, and this is a terrible choice of car.

I think they look pretty hot too. ...Except the wheels.

A diesel always sounds like a diesel? And is not a car but a tractor?

  • ^\How is the headroom in the back? I know it is a coupe but always thought it looked narrow at rear. (like tigra) Nay bother if no long rear passenger journeys.

Heard a Golf GTD the other day. A funny mix of growl and chatter.
