^^ Pretty cool. Always worries me how many people miss out the basics of welding though.

Judging by the quality, I am assuming you do a lot of automotive photography?
First car I've ever shot, but photography is indeed my day job. I suppose the same principles apply as any subject really, but sun and a polariser definitely helped.

Here's an on-the-road shot from the Caterham 7. Ascending to the Drumochter Pass, highest road in Scotland.

Going to view this on Thursday:
Ideally wanted a Civic EK(6) Vti to upgrade my sohc Civic, but seems decent ones are really hard to track down.

Check for camber issues at the rear unless it's stated that it has a new/refurbed rear beam. Tappy noises from the engine isn't good but not terminal, they shouldn't but are prone to doing it. The drivers seat bolster will probably be a little worn or if used by someone not as careful getting in/out will have a hole where the support is.
Apart from that, they're great. I'd love one again. Great handling cars.

Thanks, I never imagined I'd buy a Peugeot, but the 205 gti and 306 gti6 do seem like real driver's cars, even if the 306 is a little diluted compared. Yeah the seat bolster is a little worn but will make an effort to check those other things you mentioned.
-
• #15863
Yeah, the 306 is a little fat. A few little tweaks can improve it quite easily
-
• #15864
Although it is light/est when compared to other hot hatches of the time.

Good choice with the pug. After owning a 205 GTi and a couple of hot 106's I always thought I'd end up with a 306 GTi or a Rallye. Hope it's a good one as they'll be getting harder to find as time goes on. Civic Vti would be a good car but they've become a bit of a victim of 'scene tax'.

Civic Type-R driver put his foot down in a typical-for-south-London pointless douche overtake yesterday, and the car did make a great noise.
It didn't appear to have a great deal of power, as he didn't exactly gain speed very rapidly however.

There's a boosted EK Civic around Stokey/Dalston and it sounds brilliant. It's probably running 2psi though because try as he might, it's dog slow.

Clubman shell on an MX5. Immense fab skills and imagination displayed by this guy in the most makeshift garage I have seen in a long time.
