  • I give up.

  • I know you don't know a great deal about cars Lynx but you could try to remember the countries to help you avoid making these errors- Volvo, Ikea, Reindeer, Ford, Hamburgers, Gun-Crime.

Just reminding you, whom owned volvo when it stopped making rear wheel drive vehicles? Yes volvo purchased DAF whom built cars in the netherlands but that factory built the 3 series.

  • I give up.

me too. it's like talking to a drunk.

  • me too. it's like talking to a drunk.

Who is comparing the ferrari 250 GTO to a jaguar E type?

  • see?

  • Like most of your posts that makes almost no sense.

Volvo started development of the 850 and the modular 4/5/6 whiteblock before the Ford purchase, the 850 was the last "pure" Swedish car they made in terms of designed, developed and produced by an entirely "Volvo" team. The S/V70 had a lot of Ford input.

However, the V/S90 platform continued into the Ford era complete with driven rear wheels.

Really? So who did Volvo gain the front wheel drive development from?

  • Aftershave? Battery acid by the look of it.

  • Ah the knowledge is draining from this thread. Why not go back to posting pictures from others. Or shall we just look on other fora or google images for car pictures?

  • You are probably referring to the PRV alliance here.

An engine conglomeration not drive train. But the relationship continued hence using the smaller french engines in the 3 and 4 series. The 1.4 and 1.7 in the 3 series can both be turbo charged using renault parts.

  • This is fascinating Lynx, do please continue to tell me mangled parts of a history which I already know.

Maybe you could tell me what "Volvo" means?

Driven by the clueless in England?

You never even knew that the fiat 126 engine can have a twin choke carb, oh thats not in wikipedia by the way.

  • Everyone knows what Fiat stands for.

  • Or am I the one who needed advice on why my car was smokey and using water.

  • Fix It Again, Tony?

  • Eh? I think the floor polish has started talking to you Lynx, I have a Volvo, not a Fiat.

So you din't own a fiat 126 as you have claimed.

  • Oh for fuck sake. Piss off >>>>>>>>>>

If you're both gonna get personal you can do it via PM.

  • Heh, how many cars have you claimed to own Lynx?

How many cars have I owned? I like cars, and I know how to repair cars with mechanical and electrical faults without having to ask on cycle forums. Do I drive to the midlands every time I have an issue with something?

  • shhh

  • Have even recommended people for (brm)to use for work, where do you think that knowledge came from? I get satisfaction from repairing car and sent may years buy and selling cars. This was before forums and requiring someone to learn and problem solve.

  • Are you blind?

    Shut up.

  • No, but are you expecting me not to answer?

Maybe best advice is to let the fuckwits learn without my knowledge or experience.

  • .

  • Really? So the advice I gave was worth that much. You really show yourself to be a quality person.

  • Great edit brm, maybe you should put it back, it really show your (you're) class.

  • Ah, the lynx effect...

  • Are you shielding the transmission/putting a prop loop in and so on?

no scatter blanket for this level of hp. will run a tailshaft loop.

    Have faith fella, have faith.

    ha. trying to.
