I had a 1.8 16v as well, cracking, if fragile cars. Best shape Clio's imo.
So very true!
Two engines and several ££££ later I scrapped it. Still loved it mind, have kept the key stuck in the full cap as a memento!

You forgot how low it's now sitting with it's most recent suspension issues...
What a lovely sunset.

I think NH has that covered...
Sounds thunderous, intakes are large enough to suck in children and the odd vertically challenged adult.

Specifically:
Someone who doesn't drive his dream car but leaves it locked up in Essex (B&D)
Someone who is tuning a Volvo (Dammit)
Someone who sold his track car due to too many blown g/boxes and currently has a drug dealer spec driveway ornament (Me)
Someone who has been waiting for a new engine for his car for about 1.5 years (Jung)
Someone who aspired to own an SD1 as his first car (BQ)Collectively, as car enthusiasts, we are a joke.
BQ has owned an SD1.

I own mine and sink sufficient funds into it every year.

I'm still seriously considering getting an RS2.

Bonuses were reduced this year so I'm still a little way away from it.

It's worse than that. I don't have a car licence, and not only did I aspire to own an SD1, I actually owned two of them.

Good work.

Then there's the Daewoo Matiz I bought my wife to learn in (thus avoiding having to take the test myself) but which she then left on a friend's driveway in Shropshire over a year ago.

She has a point.
-
• #10464
Yep. But it was the cheapest possible car to insure, and it cost very little.
Not her fault she got ill I suppose. -
• #10465
Basically I've done a lot better at bicycles and motorbikes than cars.
Though my 2nd SD1 was fucking lovely.
-
• #10466
I can guarantee those cars have never been described as "fucking lovely".

Yeah I know you had two, the first car aspiration was a jib at your lack of license but ownership of two SD1s.

Tow bar, THAT exhaust, and the reverse rake stance are 3 key reasons I find them fugly.

Likewise. Though it wasn't my dream car and I'd like to uprate 'sufficient' to 'excessive.'
Is it going to fire up tomorrow.....that is the question......

I shall have another SD1 at some point.
A V8 this time though. -
• #10473
That'll have the same lump as Minky's old smoker.
