JAD is amazing.
Can’t wait to see them live in London with Full of Hell this autumn!

Anyone fancy this on Saturday? I've got a couple of tickets to shift due to illness! Cost me £15 each but pay what you like.

Would there be any interest in here for a never played Burnt Cross Wheels of Misfortune album (vinyl)?
If you're not familiar with em, Brighton based duo (brothers) pedalling a nice line of anarcho punk. -

Unashamedly just clocked this when running through The Needle Drop's top 50 albums of 2022.

Throwback, but I am currently listening to Gallows - Grey Britain (from 2008)
I loved it back when it was new, and if anything, it is better (and more relevant) now than it was then.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-Zc2wz1MdI&list=PLKwWYPkfQozLG57OHCRJRAKQZQlkweZTh

Does anyone want this Orchid t-shirt before it goes to languish in a charity shop? Size small, Free, pickup from SE20 or E14 or can post at cost (but would prefer not to).

The latest Coma Regalia record is great. Almost Circle Takes The Square-esque in parts.

I saw Jøtnarr years ago at Essex Fest... very good for memory... music wise I've been listening to the new Spy album and the latest release from Brutus, other than that, old Victory Records like Earth Crisis and Integrity
-

Yeah Jøtnarr are great. Riffs for days.

Just stumbled upon Gets Worse on Spotify... oh my, where have they been my whole life!!!!
-
• #695
Good fun aren't they? The drummer is the vocalist in The Afternoon Gentleman which you'll probably also like if you're into Gets Worse. I drove GW on tour around Europe with Fissure years ago, had a great time with them! I also put them on in a cellar in Leeds, to which their bassist turned up dressed as Elvis for absolutely no reason.

m8, this is absolutely stellar!! getting Yaphet Kotto vibes at times, which will always be a win in my book!
-
• #697
Glad you're in to it! Yaphet Kotto is definitely an influence. We've been getting a lot of Neil Perry comparisons as well which I'll take!

definitely! that post-quiet-part fill in ‘fading away like the rest of them’ at 2 minutes something is one of the best things in the world!

A Cady tour van staple. Banger!
I’ve had Gulch on repeat when I discovered the (and occasionally still do).
Only recently discovered they broke up. I’ve shed a tear.
Whilst on topic, some HC punk recommendations:
