  • ftfy, how do you know the place where it'd locked isn't just the nearest place to someone's house?

because the bike hasnt moved for over a year and is already missing half its parts.

I personally wouldnt do it but some would. It is to be fair just sitting there rusting away.

  • Email the council a pic, attach a note, leave it a week then follow it up with the council to say you're taking it.

  • I dont want it, but I can let anyone who does want it know the location.

  • That's my bike, I store it there publicly, you utter bastards.

  • 2 pairs of my new gloves for sale here:

    In manchester

  • front wheel is now sorted, just need a rear with fixed/ss hub. Anything anywhere?

  • I've got a wheel of a fuji track, you can have it for free but the hub is seized, I dunno if it's properly fucked or just needs a clean up and new cones/bearings. I could maybe check tomorrow if I have time.

  • If you get time that would be excellent, I will give it a try anyhow!

  • Chuck me a tenner and I'll fix it for you if it's fixable, that might have to wait until next week though.

  • Cheers dude just keep me posted let me know if its fixable! If it is can pick it up any time!

  • Rob, you still got the Fuji track going, as you know I'm in the market for a polo-able frame+forks....?

  • Andy bought it back off me, sorry man.

  • Ah beggar. Fair enough, in which case then, anyone got a polo-able frame+forks? I'm about 6ft 2, so something around 58cm.

  • What about Scott's po-lo-pro? £100 frame, rides nice.

  • +1 get Scott's polo frame...!

  • I thought they'd royally fucked it though?

  • It's not what he asked for, it's still a decent polo frame.

  • Hmmm, fair enough, I'll give it a think, what was actually wrong with it in the end?

  • It's too big for him.

  • It's too big for mere humans, but young Will is a giant.

  • Rear spacing was 120 instead of 135 and some of the measurements were off, so instead of having a sloping top tube it's all faux-pro where they put a tube in what was meant to be the effective top tube or suttin. It rides a lot like Neil's joust, I quite liked it and I especially miss all the jokes about tall bikes.

  • Oooh, clincher is what size wheels is it running? So only problem is it's too big pretty much? Any idea what sort of size the frame actually is?

  • It's for 26" rims, which is why the 120mm spacing was a pain in the arse. I've got some dark green anodised Quando LF flipflops here not built up if you want, also got some red 26" deep rims (look matching but one's not a Vuelta Airline).

Would make a good but garish set of wheels.

  • Nah, ain't too big, Scott was fine on it and you're taller, just not much standover. 26" wheels.
