  • I agree, these wheels are the hottest thing on road right now.Got mine this morning.Big thanks to BLB for importing these, now lets get some CHUB HUBS to lace to these babies.

you'll need short spokes for that!

  • Mine's fine, so far... And as some of you probably already know, I'm all about the crazytrix... And they look awesome... One of these sentences is a lie, answers on a postcard to the usual address...

  • Note: My opinions are based on the way I ride. These rims are good for someone who rides carefully and looks after their bikes. I would have these on a bike for the track. But I don't ride the track, well I did once...

  • What rims do you ride andy?

  • we have loads this time.
as for the failure, speak to tzusing.
i dont like these rims either. way too stiff for the old comfy me(downgraded from deep v's to cpx33.....open pro next year)
and yeah they have alternate holes.lefty righty like and i think the tyres will stay way better this time.
and as for the ripple like damage on some.......the ones which poor andy the wheelbuilder pancake had to loosen the spokes on........the ripple doesnt weaken the rim and occurs during production and is not result of too much tension as the above mentioned expert said.and we replaced anything with the ripple on it.
and apparently the heavier version is coming soon for the hard riding keeping it real in da streets among you.
    thanks.

  • sorry, how, structurally, can a ripple not effect the strength?

  • thats what tzusing said...any questions onto him please.ta

  • Can you save some for me then?

  • sounds like people should be paying extra for these ripples!

  • Can you save some for me then?

well we have tonloads....which ones you after????

  • 32H black machined if poss.?

  • silver 650 32 hole please

  • I could drop in on tues. or weds. to pick them up btw

  • lol

  • festerban: will leave it aside for ya.
    nick:machined or no???

  • Nice 1!

  • I got some Araya 16b gold's on my Nagasawa, Araya Ct 19's on my 3Rensho, Deep V's on the Giro, Mavic A319's on the Cannondale, DT 1.2's on the Louis Garneau and Rigida Mtb rims on my Vans bike (which is the bike I ride all day everyday and throw it around quite a bit when I'm falling off trying to learn stuff).

  • Rigida Mtb rims on my Vans bike (which is the bike I ride all day everyday and throw it around quite a bit when I'm falling off trying to learn stuff).

    you can says that again!

  • i wouldn't even ride them on the track if you have to lace them to loosely to stop them rippling as soon as you go into a sprint theres a chance of them folding on you. oww

  • I have had these wheels now on both bikes for 6 months and not a problem. If you are doing tricks on these wheels or any wheels they will damage.Track bikes are not designed for 10 foot gaps, drops from 5 foot ledges, bunnyhop barspins which is the uglist trick of them all, when your trick looks awkward and you are fighting the bike to do it,little hint its not designed for that.I have seen other wheels damaged by the elitish tricksters, why not post them.Another little hint that horrible sound that your wheel makes when you land really hard from your ledge drop, that is the sound of disstress. My son's bike is used for tricks, but his tricks are gracefull, which is the nicest form of riding when it comes to these bikes.wheels are not the only problem that these trick guys seem to have, damaged forks, headsets, frames to name a few.If you are like me and your bike is your pride and joy and you ride with every precaution not to damage it then you will be fine, but if you want to ride down stairs and bounce off of walls yo shit gonna damage.I would like to give a big up to BRICK LANE BIKES,you are ahead of everybody, and that causes alot of hate and jealousy. Now with my respects being paid can I get a discount :)

    possibly:-)

  • martin man you need to take a chill pill. public forum people are free to say what they want. we all know that BLB is a wank shop that provide stuff at over-inflated prices to make up for the downfall in shop management. i've built a few pairs of these rims and i'm still on the fence. in terms of doing stuff on bikes that they weren't designed for, people have been doing this for ages. sounds to me they were too quick too get the stuff out the door in the first place and should've tested them more.

  • how could aerospoke-kid damage these rims, he weighs about 4 stone! FFS, some people chat some shit.
