One of the most saddening things for me last night was the fact that the Moss Side Powerhouse library and youth centre next to where we play polo whas set on fire, that would have been by people who live in the area, not some marauding looters as in the city centre.

Why are they banging on about Manchester, and not Birmingham where 3 people have died and reported shots fired? Have I missed something else that happened in Manchester? (Just got to work so out of date on many things)

Is it only me thinking that most of those arrested will be cautioned and send on their way? And given a voucher for a grime cd compilation if they promise to not reoffend withing the next two weeks.

In the UK? Sentencing is jokes in this country. That's why we have what we have on the streets. Even if someone goes to jail, my neighbour will write a nice letter to the judge (as usual) about how sorry they are and how they want to rehabilitate themselves and tings.

I would recomend the stocks, public humiliation etc . you could combine fruit stalls and stocks.
