But, you have to admit, potentially extremely funny in year 2 of a labour government when the Gammon are protesting about, IDK, free school meals or similar hot-button topics, and they all get arrested and deported to Rwanda.

on the day they critise the chinese consulate for beating up a protestor and say anyone in this country has the right to protest

Has this been posted yet? The BBC are preparing what to broadcast in case of power outs this winter (which I imagine have quite a high chance of occuring):
I was expecting rolling blackouts for a couple of hours at a time, but some of the scenarios in there are apparently going for 2-3 days...

Just bringing this over to the new page as it deserves to live a little longer…
"Liz Truss's Director of Communications, Jason Stein, used to work as Communications Adviser for Prince Andrew until the Maitlis interview"

Now suspended for briefing against Javid, lololololol.

Imagine walking in to a commons debate thinking you've got a sure fire zinger in your pocket, a guaranteed hit that will get you front page coverage on the Mail. Then the right wing rags ignore it and instead you get fired

Braverman can now spend more time in her constituency of Fareham,
raising statue in praise of slavers. -

The Guardian reporting that Hunt is behind it, with speculation that Rishi-backing Grant Shapps will take the position.
Truss is essentially in a Birtney Spears style conservatorship being unable to make any decisions or step aside for fear of GE wipeout whilst being wheeled out for minimal airtime. At what point does the car crash joke tip over to us worrying for her safety? Was her insistent blinking on Newsnight a message?

Sounds like she got pushed out due to her being on the anti-tax loop fringe of the party, something c'Hunt wants rid off after that all sold SO well to the public and investors.
Probably going to get more immigration on the QT but with even fewer worker rights.
Could not have happened to a nicer person, but I doubt any of them is going to really invest in the HO immigration system, it is a mess with a huge backlog atm.
But sure, England/Wales get a nice public order bill :/

Two reasons she is gone says Sky News, 1. there was an incident involving Bravemen sharing secure information on a private phone, 2. Something else, but they don't know!

Prescription antibiotics not in her name.

Resignation letter says she doesn’t agree with the direction of government. Hunt definitely had her out.

When you think of what Boris Johnson got away with.

This new Public Order Bill is insane
"These orders facilitate and encourage the monitoring, control and surveillance of members of the public who exercise their democratic right to engage in protests and public campaigns. They apply to members of the public who have not been convicted of any offence and give the State the power to:
ban them from attending protests
stop them from associating with named people
stop them from going to certain areas
monitor their online activity, and
place them under electronic tag monitoring.
