David Cameron condemns sympathy for Raoul Moat
rather hilarious. no one is forcing you to read that page, you fucking idiots.
and thinking he has the authority to dictate that an american website should take down content that isn't against it's regulations?
He agreed that Facebook should be asked to remove a page devoted to sympathy for Moat, who murdered his former girlfriend before shooting himself after a week-long police hunt.
Chris Heaton-Harris, a Conservative MP, suggested he should contact Facebook and ask it to remove the RIP Raoul Moat page. Heaton-Harris said the page contained anti-police statements, which should be taken down. Cameron said he was making a "very good point"
RIP Moaty, you old git.

I dont know why you would want someone who "shot his ex-girlfriend, killed her new partner and seriously wounded a police officer - not to mention his history of assaulting previous girlfriends as well as a young relative" to rest in peace. Sounds like an arsehole to me.

yes. but, apart from small number of family and friends of raoul who are actually mourning (and why shouldn't they be?), the group is probably a joke. why would you be offended by a group "mourning" someone who did things to people you have no emotional connection to?

Of course you shouldnt ban it, I agree. I was just following up your RIP comment, which I suspect was actually a joke too.
There are some pretty full on racist and seriously misogynist comments on there though. Just saying. -
• #785
yes, it was a joke. but there are plenty of groups with misogynist and racist comments, so why let those exist but not this?

A court in India has ruled that Hindu gods can't trade in shares.
Tynan would be proud of this anti-deity stance.
It is just commonsense though. Imagine the calamity if all deities got in on the Stockmarket.
.........What would happen if Thor lost profit?
