I'm for giving people help based on need irrespective of how they got into that situation.

They're a magnet that drain money away from more targeted, less populist, armed services charities that actually do things directly for people that served (and their families), and are often utterly fucked and unsupported by the system they went through.

Yeah, they said things to fit in, then they did things to fit in, and they never said a word against the brutality and murder that goes with the British Army because they were all in together. By this logic there is no chance rehabilitation for anyone who has been part of any extremist group, or cult, or been pressured into any ideology or religion, been jailed for gang related or similar offences, or simply been a bit of a dick. Glad you don't run our penal system.

Edit: just did some light digging. Still no resolution to the lawsuit that was filed. Last reports were 2017 when the father passed away. Brother also died of an accidental overdose six months after the bike accident. Horrible.
