Is there a way I can watch sky news online on a mac, without a sky subscription? It sounds like it's providing better up to date stuff than the beeb, which is showing the same 5 clips of fires from when they still had the news choppers up.

That'll do a lot of good tomorrow.
They'll already be talking on secure networks and tomorrow they sign potentially life changing documents to implement whatever measures they decide on. So tomorrow may do good, wait and see.

If by better stuff you mean repeated news about an old furniture shop in Croydon burning down.

[INDENT]from The Guardian:
I've just returned from Hackney riots and was ambushed just off Essex Road and had my bike snatched by a group of six masked teenagers waiting on Ecclesbourne Road who were shouting "take the bike, take the bike".
I was forced to swerve away from them but crashed to the ground. Just as one of the thieves grabbed my bike from under me a red van raced screeched around the corner and smashed into a parked car. Two young men then got out and the man in passenger seat then put his hand in his pocket and threatened to pull a on knife on the thieves, accusing them of stealing his bike earlier.
A violent scuffle broke out and the thieves gave up the stolen bikes. Everyone seemed to walk away from the incident, but criminal minded local youths seem to be taking advantage of the lack of police presence due to trouble elsewhere.

Military riot gear is shite, the police TSG get all the good stuff.
What we need is a load of the French CRS, they are not renowned for a softly softly approach. -

why are they still urging parents to call their kids? How do they know those parents who still haven't done so are not in support of the looting? Is that the best the police can do?
I am sorry but I have seen enough irresponsible parents in this county. Hope I didn't just step onto the toes of those good parents here. Good parents are everywhere but sadly a minority could destroy the whole community.
