  • Police jammers? Apparently they were jamming certain frequencies in Birmingham tonight. No Blackberry service or mobile internet.

Can assure you that this is not accurate. Simply network overload.

The police cannot do this. It was reported to have happened after the london bombs too but that was also not true.

  • It seems OK in Camberwell, your mum will be fine. Don't worry.

  • To be fair, they have just started laying new stone footpaths across ilkley moor.. no mention from BBC or Sky.

    Fucking outrage.

  • Sky reporter is hilarious.

  • I blame that fucking morrisey obviously trying to get his panic back in the charts

  • Sky news guy at Pharmacy 'Drugs all been stolen, this packet is empty, imodium' Yeah, I'd be shitting it too

  • Sky news reporter: Empty packs of imodium strewn over Boots floor. Will be able to find a nice trail leading the police to them!

  • https://london.indymedia.org/articles/9746 <== some interesting thoughts on it all

personally, i totally understand where the kids are coming from, though i do not condone the violence. yet when you get fucked daily by those up on high, while politicians are jetsetting on their summer holidays, is it any wonder? most of the kids on my estate haven't been away in.... well, ever?!

i don't blame them. i blame the ConDems and the lunacy cuts, the fact that there is no conduit between a 14 or 15 year old that allows them to communicate with 'adult' society. instead, the adults just rip them off, pay them peanuts - or won't give 'em a job in the first place.

    Really?

    Affirmative.
We were evacuated off the park at 1600hrs due to 'intel' that the park was a target.
Bullshit I say, but it happened none the less.

  • Is there a way I can watch sky news online on a mac, without a sky subscription? It sounds like it's providing better up to date stuff than the beeb, which is showing the same 5 clips of fires from when they still had the news choppers up.
