This programme sounds like a heap of dangerous turd, but it's on Channel 5 - I don't think any random neutrals are going to watch it and think 'those cyclists, who I'd never really considered before, are awful and I must start behaving like a twat towards and around them' - it'll probably be watched by a few mouth-breathers who already think like that, or a very few reasonably-minded people who think 'wtf is this, cycling is a Good Thing'.
Or maybe I'm stuck in my middle class elitist bubble...but Channel 5?

Tommy Robinson, today:
“I feel I am two days away from being sentenced to death, in the UK, for journalism – today I call on Donald Trump, his administration, and the Republican party to grant me and my family political asylum in the USA.”
Bad luck, squire - the Don don't like shithole countries sending their criminals over.

Does feel like the tiny bully tends to run off to adult as soon as somebody/something fights back.

What makes him think he would be welcomed. He can't even get a US visa with his rap sheet, without getting a hooky passport.

Couldn't have put it better.

He could always take refuge in the U.S. embassy, Assange-style.

Nice little bit in the judgement:
“You want to harass someone’s family? You see that man who was getting
aggressive as he walked into court, the man who faces charges of child
abduction, rape, prostitution – harass him, find him, go knock on his
door, follow him, see where he works, see what he’s doing.."The respondent rejects the allegation of incitement to harass.

He really is thicker than Barry White's shit on Boxing Day.

Yup, just read the judgement. Turns out that his version of events was just a pack of lies. Who would have thought?

Ta. He’s preaching to the choir though on there.
Oh, and a smattering of the usual ‘lalala I’m not listening’ brigade.

Watching it now. Weird. Feels like a self-parody, like it doesn't believe in its own message. So much of the footage and interviewees completely undermine the argument.
-
• #57317
Is that not because you’re actually questioning what they say in your own mind, rather than taking it at face-value though?
-
• #57318
I almost want to watch to see if I’m on it ;)

It's dreadful. Such cheap, low-brow stuff.

On Channel 5? I’m shocked, shocked I tell you.

But, but, but... Did I get on the tellybox?(waves at mum & dad)

It's not a ride unless I've defecated in someone's front garden, even on the 4 mile commute.

I'm sorry, I don't believe that cyclists are riding to that bloke's house, shitting in his garden and pedalling away. I simply don't believe it.
Just reinforces my pretty poor view of media execs - cf. Jeremy Kyle & washing hands thereof
Couldn’t give a shit about anything other than ratings & budgets - fuck all of the consequences
(Always some exceptions to any sweeping generalisations, obvs)
