Misguided, IMO. It won't stop corporations from doing their own private calculations. It will stop the wider public finding out about inequity.

Career bike thief (well, it looks like it) nicked.
Bet the neighbours claim not to have noticed anything...

"Inquiries are continuing to establish whether the bicycles have been reported as stolen."
Most of them probably not, considering people know by now that it's basically a waste of time.

I had about 40x in France at height of the hoarding but it is much milder now, with about 15.
UK garden = 3 bikes only!
EDIT: seeing the photo, there are no bikes of value in this pile. Just low end hybrids so you would amass this many bike in a short period of time if say, you worked at a recycling centre.

Labour holds Peterborough from Brexit Party.
-
• #56835
Very interesting given that Peterborough voted 61% leave.

683 votes in it

There was only 600 ish in it in 2016 too, but to the tories. Turn out down, obviously. Lib Dem’s improving from 1000 ish (if my memory serves me correctly)to 4000 this time round. Tory seam to be losing more to the brexit party than labour. Labour winning despite the scandal of the last mp.

I think your right, below are Peterborough's votes from the Euro's lots of protest votes for the Brexit Party, but they've gone once it about having a MP. Its interesting that the Euro seam to have had a higher turn out than the by election. I assume the catchment area would have been different ?

Politics in 2019. Man wearing the flag upsidedown and another muppet count their votes -

Deja vu
Nigel Farage, the Brexit party leader, left the count through a backdoor just minutes before the result was announced.
While his party blames the immigrants
Brexit party insiders said Labour’s reliance upon a mainly Pakistani vote in inner-city wards had been the difference between the parties.

ALL policies are about Brexit, they can't not be.

UAE tanker attacks blamed on 'state actor'
US National Security Adviser John Bolton previously said "naval mines almost certainly from Iran" were to blame for the damage, although he provided no evidence to support the allegation.
You do get the feeling that the US could be gearing up for Gulf Mk III
Not that there is an suggestion that the attacks on the tankers were entirely false flags. Oh no.

In the past the Australian parliament has been even less effective than ours in controlling the gradual increase in authoritarianism through poorly scrutinised legislation and government regulation. Who knows what is happening now in the UK? The Brexit department have managed the introduction of "over 500" statutory instruments through parliament affecting every level of regulation in the country. Who knows what is in the small print?

Who knows what is in the small print?
They're all published openly, aren't they?
I mean, I'm no fan of unchecked legislation, but the brexit stuff is not without precedent, even if woefully behind schedule (the same method was used to join the EU in the first place).
And SIs can be challenged, as far as i know, , even if it only happens very rarely

But don't worry, he is not racist or xenophobic. He says so himself, so it must be true! The BAME voters will be voting EN MASSE for the Brexit party next time... ;)
Yep. Glad I didn;t go.
