You say that, but when they then start turning this shit on peaceful protests...? They'd be harangued for excessive force, they can't please everyone. The association between these riots and protests, like calling them 'protesters', shows the link is already being made.

The distinction seems pretty clear to me, or am i wrong? Protesting is about making a point, this is just about destruction and looting as far as i can see. Protests should be respected as a legitimate outlet for grievances because they're better than the alternatives, like riots for example.

The only thing these protesters seem to be for is the right to destroy and steal, a position that deserves no respect at all.

I spent the morning on Tottenham High Road talking to local residents and businesses, reassuring them that their local Council will be there to help them rebuild their businesses and lives. Relative from someone in the office lived above the Allied Carpet shop and has lost everything.
