Pretty gutting that Sir Oink-a-Lot isn't doing better in the Oldham West and Royton by-election.

Disappointed by Clegg, Farron, Vaz and (by far) Alan Johnson.
-
• #38304
Agreed. Although occasionally it can get a bit tiresome...

UKIP blames the postal vote and the number of Asian voters who use it.

11,000 majority, 40% turnout.
awaiting inevitable "Oldham election result is another reason for Corbyn to go and he LOVES evil" from msm.
-
• #38307
Pretty sure headlines were swiftly changed from 'Labour loses because of Corbyn' to 'Labour wins despite Corbyn' all across media-land.

Corbyn is into chemsex?

Trying to make an anonymous bomb threat when you have a Norwegian accent won't work:

k-hole corbyn. trufix.

amazing how woefully fucking inept most of the newspapers etc. were in calling the result of oldham. it's almost as if these hacks think all working class people are ignorant racists...

To save people counting that's 67 Labour MPs who voted for the military action.

The problem is polling. It's not working.

has anyone printed a 'FRESH MEAT IN OLDHAM' headline yet?

Er? Did the Piers Gaveston Society hold a party there?

The names of the San Bernadino shooters have been released. I'd say it's a safe bet how that's going to be labelled by the right, regardless of the actual motive.
And they might be spot on

Disappointed by Clegg
Surely not?
I thought he was such a principled, honest man
-
• #38318
Also, the poor man's Phill Jupitus has shown his true colours by trying to smear Walthamstow's peaceful protestors as a screaming rabble.
Apparently by putting Post-It notes on her constituency office door (the most gentrified, middle-class protest available), they were basically engaging in a Cereal Killer style class war protest.

Cereal Killer
So that's what happened to the Honey Monster.
-
• #38320
Honey Monster is far too mainstream for Cereal Killer surely. I think they're all about obscure Eastern European cereal advertisement animals you've probably never heard of.

Clearly mentally ill person attacks people at tube station, instantly labelled as a terrorist attack...
Amazing... It's fucking hysteria...
-
• #38323
Just had exactly the same reaction. It's a handy label to be used, saves having to deal with the mental health issue. "Terrorist, lock 'em up"
-
• #38324
One good thing over here is when someone goes a bit mad and on a rampage for whatever reason you end up with 3 people injured and the guy arrested. If it was America there would be about 15 dead by now. Also if it was an actual planned terrorist attack maybe similar, this is a frustrated, idiotic, reactionary outburst and should be treated as such, although I doubt it will be when justification for high alerts and dropping bombs is being searched for.

"You ain't no Muslim, bruv!"
The army is amusingly tribal.
