what is even more funny this time, is that one of the blokes ( the one committed for murder ) has already absconded two times before when sent out on day release ... oh it's funny 'cause it's true
luckily the govt. are looking in more detail at the process of releasing life sentences prisoners into the community .... good for them

what a disgrace
management bonuses up 36% in a yearhttp://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/nhs-bonuses-chiefs-pocket-116-3553527
This surprises me to the point of questioning the accuracy of the figures. Admittedly I only know the NHS in London but thousands of management posts have been axed in the last year. 150 middle managers from just one organisation. The best thing is, nobody noticed when they left. Sickening to think how much money had been spent on a load of people doing nothing for so many years. Also, its against the NHS constitution to have performance related pay...what are these bonuses that they talk about?
-
• #29957
bonuses to management went from £122mn to £166mn those numbers are stated to be correct, as for the inforgraphic above, it's the mirror, economic with the truth ?
so the bonuses are up and there are less of themeven more of a scandal
-
• #29958
In theory there shouldn't be any bonuses at all. Piss poor if true.
-

A quick look at NHS pension guidance shows that the NHS pension authority gives guidance on whether your bonus is taxable and affects your pension or not.

They're probably left-wing compared to Farage though.

I had a dream my mum was chatting up Farage last night, I remember taking the piss out of that interview he did and called him a smarmy fucking cunt whilst my mum was putting the kettle on. All in my dead Grandma's house as well, does Farage have no respect at all, other people live there now, we don't even have a key. The bastard.

Horrible floods affecting so many families
Officials say that three months' worth of rain has fallen on the Balkans in recent days, producing the worst floods since rainfall measurements began 120 years ago.
-
• #29969
Yes, dreadful, it feels almost like a replay of the German floods in 2002. A very similar scenario.
