I find a lot of stuff from a certain era really fascinating, I think it has to do with being alive but too young and too far removed (geographically, culturally) from the political social world that young people of the time were concerned with. but once I was old enough to be more aware, seeing little glimpses of that earlier time and the echoes of it. the earliest political issue I really remember being a thing amongst my peers (rather than something filtered through the BBC News at home) was the CJB.

It was an exciting time. Social/political/musical world completely intertwined.
Bit different now, unfortunately. The wrong side won..
