  • It never seems to end :( And given his reaction to Savile it's all the more galling.

You realise he has not been charged, tried or convicted yet?

  • The whole issue leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

  • You realise he has not been charged, tried or convicted yet?

Yes. I really hope he isn't guilty of anything.

  • The whole issue leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I would imagine that the people who have been successfully prosecuted as a result of Operation Yewree left a significantly worse taste in the mouths of their victims.

  • I thought I might have been too subtle....

  • Well you were for me at least. But then I'm multitasking - looking at the forum while I do my expenses as a result my expenses claim form is starting to look only slightly less ridiculous than that of the average MP pre tabloid expenses ageddon.

  • ^ Have you been claiming for duck islands, horlicks and garlic presses again?

  • No but I did catch the fact that I was trying to put a claim in for £10,000.00 for entertaining clients having been absent mindedly tapety tapping away on my keyboard.

  • 10 grand?! Where did you take them, Dubai?

  • Up the Oxo Tower?

  • I had a score on Gambaccini at 7-1.

  • It's a neverending story, this one.

  • I had a score on Gambaccini at 7-1.

Well before we sentence and convict him online, let's remember that about a quarter of these Yewtree arrests go no further. At the end of all this we will once again see calls asking for accused anonymity because of the damage it does to reputations and careers. Saying that, he looks like a wrong un so they should be able to fit him up for something.

  • The East London Advertiser with a rather disingenuous headline here...

  • ^ Rock n roll!

    Oh wait...

  • can someone explain to me what exactly wrong with Kale?

Poor people in the eyes of richard littlejohn are confined to a diet of value coke and budget iceland takeaways

  • Iceland don't do takeaways, you posh bastard.

  • And Kale used to be a lot cheaper. It's getting a lot more than a quid for a giant bag nowadays.

  • I blame J. J. Cale...

  • Iceland don't do takeaways, you posh bastard.

Ah I've never shopped there , from what I've heard not worth the half hour ride over going to tesco down the road

    Actually, they do, kind of:

  • Ummm... Iceland takeaways, like the £1.50 Chicken Fried Rice. The box is probably as tasty and more nutritious than the contents. I actually lived of shit like that at one point.

  • And Kale used to be a lot cheaper. It's getting a lot more than a quid for a giant bag nowadays.

If you get them from supermarket, yes.

Aurbegine cost a quid in supermarket but greengrocier is usually a little more than half that (60p) New Covent Garden Market is a quid for 3.

  • Kevin Arscott should say YES to deed poll
