I feel that calling out Obama for not hanging out with poor people on the street is fairly stupid since I'm fairly certain Romney's favourite pastime is not kicking back in soup kitchens, chatting to homeless people.

Watching the breakfast news yesterday there was a series of interviews with Americans, regarding this contest, and all of their opinions were about the personality and "family guy" credentials of Romney and Obama.

Not one word about policy.

Surely "republican" or "liberal" is all they need to know about their policies? Isn't that how it works over there?

I find these thefts to be quite interesting as the pieces have no value now through any legitimate channels. Unless they have been stolen to order for some Blofeld type super-villain or there is some sort of underground auction house for stolen paintings, I really don't see what was to be gained from the theft.

Flogging them back to the insurance company via an intermediary is the norm I think.

Then why isn't the fence arrested for handling stolen goods?

That I suspect is a risk they run- I doubt they call the insurance company from their home phone however.
