Watching Georgie Porgie. He's quite boring. I noticed that on the BBC News Live player the volume goes up to 11 and wondered if it was a sly Spinal Tap reference, turns out it is: http://rxdxt.tumblr.com/post/560540392/why-the-bbcs-iplayer-volume-control-go-to-11
Yeah but Future Media didn't really do any of the BBC work - it was Method

You work in a factory in Yorkshire don't you? Have you fully considered the size of the kicking that you may get for depriving one of your fellow salt of the Earth Yorkshire factory drones his morning cup of sugar with tea?

I think it's a good thing.* Those mumbo-jumbo sanctimonious dickheads should at least have some conviction about their so-called faith and stop trying to bend over backwards to prove that their religion is anything other than archaic and, increasingly, irrelevant.
Christianity is inherently discriminatory. How many Jews accept Christ?!
- well, except for gay or liberal christians and clergyman I suppose.

Well said.
I'm all for equality, but Catholicism isn't about equality. They have a set of strict rules that have been in place for centuries, rules that discriminate against many groups, not just homosexuals. Those rules are interpretations of the bible, and for Catholics the bible is The Word. End of. I don't believe they should change fundamental aspects of their religious beliefs to accommodate anyone.
It's a dying religion in the west for a reason, because it puts Faith above reason.
If your beliefs and practices go against a particular religions beliefs and practices, the answer is to leave that religion.
I'm sure there are other religions with a Christian ethos who will happily bless a homosexual marriage.Let Catholicism wither.
