Is there a thread for the budget or is no one fused?

Only those in the 50% tax bracket are fussed, and vehemently so. I was listening to 5live this morning, and the vitriol from people complaining about being "penalised for success". All of them ended up resorting to listing the effects the 50% rate has had on them, and all cited having only 1 holiday a year (and probably not abroad they hastened to point out) and no more free spending. Having to keep an eye on their money for a change and they're up in arms.

They seem to think they're the only people who work hard. They also kept saying they were cash strapped and far from rich. Well if earning over 7 times the national average isn't rich, what is?
