Anyone know what was happening this morning on corner of london wall/moorgate?

police had the road closed with tape up and the whole shebang. noticed an increased police presence all round that way too as I had to take the back roads around barbican to get round it.

Motorbike and Ped according to twitter.

Yeah, the photo I saw looked like he was wearing some kind of harness which was roped to an officer.

It undermines the integrity of the news a bit when they show you one thing and tell you that it's something else.

Theres been complaints about that. The locals were upset that he had been taken back to the area, and questioned wether it was really nessersary.

It's all a bit Hannibal Lecter, I imagine him breaking free for a moment as he leads the police past a point where he stashed a gun, at the time knowing he would be brought back to the scene of the crime if caught.
