Quality.
Damn right, too many artists let Cowell and co butcher their work, its soul destroying. I walked in someone watching glee once and they were singing a bowie medley. I can barely talk about it to this day.

...but letting heather smalls, bono and that moon-faced opera diva honk it out as an ad for the beeb is cool?
i mean, anything's cooler than susan boyle, but you get my point.

Uh? Did you actually read the article?
"Omid (not his real name) is 15 years old. His father died in the fields, when he stepped on a landmine. As the eldest son, it's his job to look after his mother - who begs on the streets - and two younger brothers.
*"I started dancing at wedding parties when I was 10, when my father died," says Omid. * *"We were hungry, I had no choice. Sometimes we go to bed on empty stomachs. When I dance at parties I earn about $2 or some pilau rice."* *I ask him what happens when people take him to hotels. He bows his head and pauses for a long time before answering. * *Omid says he is paid about $2 for the night. Sometimes he is gang raped."*

Best headline this week: Easyjet to end Robin Hood flight.
Looks like they'll no longer be robbing the stupid to pay the morally bankrupt.

Slightly old but not been posted here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-11062918Is it just me who can't believe this went to court and he's on the sex offenders register?
He's 17 and clearly a bit nuts. no?
-
• #1097
even though
"It is clear that there was a sexual element to this offence."
-
• #1098
Yeah, what was it? unless they're not allowed to report it doesn't make sense...
-

Just think when I was a kid if someone had done this a few people might have had a word, fair enough, but now he's got a criminal conviction and is on the sexual offenders register, for life. Seems a bit fucked up to me...

The sex offender register is odd isn't it. Didn't the guy that got caught fucking his bike go on it too?
