Ewels, you idiot.
Fear for Wales’ scrum later…

Amazing win for Glasgow.

From 13-0 down at Loftus. Epic.

Stuart Hogg, what a cunt.

Just got to watch the Boks vs Wales game. Obviously I'm biased but I enjoyed it. Now watching England vs Japan

England lucky to be level, but looking competitive. Loads of forward passes missed. It’s like Super12s in the 90s/2000s when they were never given!

Tight. A few things cost them there. Kicking is the obvious one.
Some laziness at the breakdown gave an easy 3 points too, plus several turnovers. NZ walking round the side lots. Yes, that was probably the case - but fine, deal with it by blasting them out. Too many watching and appealing. Just smash them away instead.
Marler injury probably worth another 3, as the front row change of plans probably made Borthwick put Dan and Cole on before planned (if previous games are anything to go by). And the fresh NZ props dealt some punishment later on - plus the massive fresh lock too (second row influence on scrums is always overlooked by comms and annoys me no end).
The ‘plucky England go down fighting’ line isn’t good enough though. Wins are everything. And they fell short in a few areas today.

... Ireland seems to have taken the loss badly...

Excellent. Was a cracking game - SA deserved the win, but we could easily have taken it but for Lowe being at his best and worst in the same game and a few pretty debateable decisions. Very annoyed at a 3-line whip kids' party next Saturday...

I won't lie, I've been having a whale of time rewatching the games. I always end up a little pissed by the end of some games so rewatching them is quite enjoyable.

NZ are so formidable in the last 20 mins especially at Eden Park. England were looking good and forcing them to play in their own half but they always find a way.

Fuck me, that was some finish.

FB chat indicates that I won't enjoy the replay of the bok/ire game

Hell of a game. Would watch again. Just glad it wasn’t in the WC. The two drop goals Ireland scored at the end were textbook.

Still a good game, then I'll watch it. Cheers dude

I'm kinda glad there isn't a third game - we don't have any unbroken players left.

But it's great when other teams bring the brutality to the table. I suspect they'll be in a similar situation.

It was a bloody great game, in every sense of the word. SA's accidental offside pen shouldn't have been, but it didn't matter in the end.

I was wondering if Ireland had forgotten how to play rugby 😉 (obviously just baiting you)

Genuinely worried we had at some points in the second half.

Does sound like a promising game!

Ouch...
Well done Ireland. Damn that was close.
Decent amount of blood.

Great result for the Olympics. Enjoyed that tournament. Lovely stuff.
Cracking final yesterday. Bath put in a massive shift despite being down to 14 men, especially Underhill who was unreal. Shout out to Christophe Ridle who got pretty much everything right, including the red card which was perfectly refereed.
