Thought of you yesterday, Tommy (not more than the once though).
Spotted someone wearing a piece of your favourite cycling equipment yesterday evening. Minutes later I passed one of those advertising hoardings that also have the date and time on them, it was 9 degrees.
What do you think about that?

Despite blue skies and sunshine its actually cold here.
I was out on a training ride yesterday thinking.....I spent a lot of money on a heavily vented helmet;
I spent a lot of money on heavily vented road shoes; and
I live within spitting distance of the arctic circle.WTF?

Time to resurrect this thread. Yeah.
As I said on another thread yesterday, a fellow cyclist on Monday told me that I "should get one of these" pointing at his balaclava.
maybe its a personal thing. i've got quite good circulation so the only place i get cold on my bike is my hands and my face. wind-chill on the hands and face is horrible!! sorry guys i'm in the pro-balaclava camp.
