Better, MessenJah.

Your redeeming yourself slightly.
Anyways yea, personally i think they should b banned, they are impractical and their so called ability to be faster in traffic only exists when there is a queue at traffic lights and they skip the line up the wrong side of the road coming straight towards you.

Bollocks.
Scooterists, maybe... -

If only there was a way of banning chavs on their shitty little scooters.
banning motorcycles on the whole is complete bollocks though -
• #7
The police should be enforcing the law not defining it. Twats.

London's roads were not designed for motorised transport. Motorised transport should not be allowed in London.
-
• #10
Well not that extreme, like how are the elderly or the disabled going to get around safely and comfortably.

By the same logic you should ban bikes too, as London's famous London's roads weren't designed for them. We should all go back to horses, carts and coaches. We could rename this place londonhcc.com.
Arguably London's roads weren't really designed but evolved. Motorised transport has contributed to that continued evolution.

But surely there comes a point when evolution just goes wrong. Look at Russell Brand.
-
• #13
Good point, well made. Which is what I'd expect from a man of your gravitas Clive.

I really don't want to do that. I'll look at Robert Smith through half-closed eyes instead.

Insane.
@ Rosmal - I take it you have never actually ridden a motorised bike? Practical yes, faster than most other forms of transport - YES!I believe that the Suzuki Hayabusa will do 200mph with a few legal aftermarket addons.

Am I to believe that you wait at the back of a que on your push bike?

Very very true, there are good reasons we separate the executive, the legislature and the judiciary.
Police chiefs seem keen to loosen this separation of powers, but they will just have to stick to what we pay them for.
Two groups I have a lot of trouble with when they (as un-elected groups) start - effectively - legislating, the church (go and fuck yourself) and the police force.
I feel better now.

Practical.

I say we ban the police as the cunts have not been fit for purpose for some time now.
Way to go alienating a whole swathe of law abiding (until proven otherwise) citizens. -

Am I to believe that you wait at the back of a que on your push bike?
How did you get to that conclusion?
You are to believe that i'm coming though a junction on the correct side of the road when a motorcyclist speeds down the wrong side of the road to skip the queue and is heading my way.@ Rosmal - I take it you have never actually ridden a motorised bike? Practical yes, faster than most other forms of transport - YES!

Yes i have ridden a motorbike, but only off road and on a track.
And that's not what i meant, its not like your going to be doing 200mph+ on the streets of London, which is what i meant by "they should be more like a hobby".But they are in some cases practical. Less fuel usage, faster than cars etc.
-
• #21
Thay like you are allowed to jump que's, it is not the bike at fault but the rider, just as in some cases cyclists do stupid things.
-

my dad is a motorbike nut... aint nothing better then 120 mph down a coutry road on the back of a ducati!! no bans please.

What will these police bastards come up with next? Ban pedal bikes because they're 'unmotorised toys' which are too slow to be fit for purpose?
