  • On the other hand, MODA have gone to the opposite extremes in making 2 track bikes. One resembles an advertising hoarding, and the other is a svelte titanium jobbie. The Ti model is said to be made right here in the UK.

I have it on good authority that is a PX with a paint job and a price tag

  • The very same PX that velodrome shop said were "cheap" carbon and not very good?

  • I find the chainstays and seatstays to be worryingly thin though. Other modern track bikes have thicker stays. I'm sure that a thicker stay makes for better power transmission, and less flex?

Looks like the Full Pro Track frame in a ready to ride package. The FPT is not a flexy frame.

  • Koga have a new(?) bike out called the Senko. New to me, but possibly not new to you.

The senko was the 2010 replacement for the full track pro. This is the second year of senko's being available.

  • The senko was the 2010 replacement for the full track pro.

According to official Koga website, the Full Pro Track is still available, and the Senko isn't Scandium, which explains why it's so cheap. Senko looks like identical tube shapes, so presumably it's just made from thicker walled 7005 aluminium to keep the strength up, in which case it should be a bit heavier than the FPT, but also fractionally stiffer.

  • Trying to ride the special educational needs co-ordinator is a surefire way to get excluded.

  • To the uneducated eye that Full Track Pro looks very similar to a Fuji Comp.

  • To the uneducated eye that Full Track Pro looks very similar to a Fuji Comp.

Then get educated. For a start, the Fuji seat stays join the seat tube well below the top tube junction. Also, it's Full Pro Track, not Full Track Pro. Makes no sense the way you put it.

  • "Following the success of the Moda Forte Track Bike, UK manufacturers Moda have released a brand new Track Bike for 2011, the titanium Moda Senza. Titanium track frames are extremely rare so in introducing the Senza, Moda have developed a unique product that is incredibly light but at the same time one of the strongest track frames currently available to purchase.

More suited to endurance Track Cyclists due to the narrow tubes and relaxed geometry, the Senza is targeted at those riders looking for something different that enables them to stand out and really impress your fellow track riders.

Each frame is handmade in the United Kingdom by Moda's highly skilled frame-builders who finish the bike off with a natural metallic paint job that will almost certainly turn heads and make you the envy of your fellow track riders.

The popular Moda high modulus carbon forks, tried and tested on the Forte only add to the class of the Senza."

    They paint the titanium one?

And were being ridden under the MASSI brand name by at least one Spanish rider at TWC on the weekend I remember.

  • Also, catch up...

  • Was looking at this bike recently for V. It only comes with a 52/14 ratio, even in a size XS!!!

What kind of 5'2" human pushes a 98 GI?

  • i prefer the frameset only, incl fork, seatpost, headset and stem

  • What kind of 5'2" human pushes a 98 GI?

though he's probably not even 5ft

  • I'd be pushing a big gear too if that man was chasing after me trying to put his finger in my bum!

    GET AWAY!! GET AWAY!!

  • Something about that Canyon definitely floats my boat. Yup. It does.

  • though he's probably not even 5ft around the thighs

    Pretty close though.

  • Nah, proportionally maybe but he really is an umpa lumpa
