loads of fixie skidders without brakes and foot retention riding REAL SLOW. i've been riding my war-time single speed shopper and i totally rinse them like embarrassingly so...how can they go so slow? i guess people won't see them riding their skidders so easily unless they slow down...i nearly gave one a hand sling

the amount of clueless smucks riding fixed around the Fallowfield area is shocking. No foot retention, useless brakes if any at all, massive gearing.
Urgh, I might make a little A5 'sort your bike out' flyer and stick them in peoples spokes. Maybe a check list of brakes/foot retention/chain-line and tension/sizing/ lights ect.

A few weeks ago a boy from revs had a ride on my bmx after work and while riding around sat down with his knees at his neck utters the words "I like it, it only has one brake and one gear; is it a fixie?"
The fix-wheel apocalypse is coming
