Well I know I haven't exactly been faithful to cambridge polo and I did technically leave 3 weeks ago but I just thought I'd take this chance to say thanks, you've been some really good friends of the the last few years. Well lemme' know if any of you need a place to crash in the South West and I hope I'll be seeing some of you at Christmas. A winter MTB ride at Thetford perhaps or just a drink at t'pole? Anyhoo see you in the future and if not, have a nice life! Gabe.

Ok, so if this is the 5/6th of November, and you want the 24 hour tournament to be before (as a fundraiser), that only leaves us 22/23 and 29/30.

Neither is great as one if the weekend after Hell's Belles, and one is the weekend before your tournament, so we might find that people won't make it? But I guess it's going to be a lot colder after that, so it is what it is.

I don't really mind which weekend, what do you guys prefer.

22/23 gets my vote.

Hmm, talking to London about this, it's really a bit close to the BFF, HB and your tournament, people probably won't play 3 weekends in a row, or go 2 weekends a row to Cambridge.

Maybe it's better to do it later in November, even if it will be colder.

To be honest, even through winter and spring the warehouse wasn't that cold. If people have layers on that can be taken off for games and put back on afterwards like hoodies or track jackets then it's pretty easy to stay warm.

I don't remember a time that it was totally freezing, it wasn't too bad at our first indoor tournament and that was in February.

Would recommend sleeping bags and blankets if people want to snooze, memeries of late night (early morning polo) and trying to fall asleep on one of the couches but only managing to pass out for about 20 minutes as was freezing cold.
