Which Saddle?

Bianchi Pista riders: is the charge spoon as comfortable as the stock pista saddle? It looks nicer, but doesn't have as deep a groove for the taint. Is this noticeable for those of you who have made the replacement? Seems to be a pretty popular switch to make.

how waterproof are charge spoons?
ie. if left out in the rain, will they seep water out when sat on?

quicker to dry than a san marco rolls it has to be said.

not meaning to nickpic,k but have you managed to simply tips the saddle nose slighty upward/downward? make a massive amount of difference.

I almost sold my Rolls on account of it being unfuckingbelievable uncomfortable, until I tip the nose down a little bit.

Selle Italia SLR or SLR XP.
Previous best was Selle Italia Flite.
Get on with the Selle Italia XO for commuting but not first choice.
Still need to try Fizik Arione. Toupe wasn't too good for me - useable but SLR beats it for sure.

Charge Spoon is well comfy but I'm looking for a real leather saddle. What would be the Brooks equivalent of this? B17 narrow?

@ Ved, I think my sit bones must be able to cut glass, the Charge is rock, if the Rolls is even a little bit more padded I'm all good! Still, any recommendations?
rolls even though pretty padded are a fairly solid saddle. i've got 2 Ti ones and a normal. as hard as my pure carbon tune speedneedle.

My brooks B17 is well comfy now it's broken in. Took a little while though and a few goes with the proofing stuff.

I had an SKN crmo for a while, really nice saddle, but it wore out after about a years riding. I just bought a charge spoon and I'm really happy with it. Very comfortable, and it looks pretty good too.

Brooks B17 on the Fuji, was f*cking uncomfortable, like getting off with balls in my pants that weren't my own, they were that numb. However, with the nose up a little it's starting to break in nicely now and is very comfy over the commute (7 miles) without wearing pantie liners.

It does creak a bit (not unlike its owner) but I have a new sense of satisfaction as the arse dimples are starting to appear from breaking it in.

Brooks Swallow - low profile and quick to break in IMHO.

Brooks are ugly... I'm with hippy on saddle choice.

Never tried a stripped saddle.. but I guess I'll try it with my old yellow Flite when it's worn out.. it's getting there :(

Never tried the SLR XP, but have one in mint condition I found in a bike shop skip, had the word "TEST" written on it, but that was easy to remove ;)

@Donoevil. Love the look of that saddle, looks to be the same shape as a Selle Italia SLR to me.
Anyone tried one of these, Fizik Gobi. Its for a MTN bike.
