I am in the process of developing a teflon-coated saddle to prevent jeans-arse wear due to friction.

Also I heard that if you liberally coat your arse with TF2 (Weldtite Teflon spray lube) before cycling, it should help prevent jeans-arse wear.

I loathed my san marco rolls.
Then I got a toupe, some days it was really comfortable and others a complete pain until I had a cyclefit done and moved into a more racing position and it is now really comfortable. From my experience do not get a toupe if you ride in an upright position.
Recently I tried out loads of different saddles - I really liked the look of the Fizik but they put too much pressure on my perineum. After trying a few others I decided to stick with the toupe, but am interested in a brooks swallow - but definitely need to try before I buy.
Saddles are really subjective - for example Ved uses both the Rolls and the Toupe but I could never get to grips with the Rolls.
Speaking of which does any one want the Rolls (black, quite good condition)?

^^ I have the toupe on my road bike and I wear padded shorts so I find it comfortable.
On my fixed I use the rolls but i do ride more upright. I can get away with riding without padding with the rolls too but I don't think I'd do a long ride on it. Its trial and error basically.

you did well to stand your ground, I was only messing with you with the intention of messing with Platini because I knew he wasn't going to bother messing with you after seeing your attempt to mess with him.
