Hey!
I've been using a San Marco rolls saddle for a couple of years now and has been giving me trouble as of late. Mainly in the form of sores on the very inner thighs. Any ideas which saddle would be better suited to me?
Cheers

Might be worth lowering the saddle a touch, I find even a few mm too high and my inner thighs start getting rubbed raw. If it's otherwise comfortable it might be worth a shot.

Thanks for the advice; I'll give it a go:)

When you got your power saddle, did you have to adjust reach on your bike?
My logic is that it's a shorter saddle so you might actually be further away from your bars when using it. Or is that nonsense?

Yes. It's only got a shorter nose. Where yer bum goes should be the same.

Thanks chaps. Saddle should be arriving later in the week and hoping to take it out on a 200k+ ride at the weekend. Will try and have a shot on the turbo before that to dial it in...

I put a 90mm stem on mine, meant I wasn't stretching so much, and also left me adjustment at the saddle so I was comfortably positioned over the bb/crank area.
Don't think Giant make an inline dfuse so doubt anybody else will. -

My thoughts too when googling.
I think the stock stem is 110mm so that willnbe my next port of call

Here's my favourite saddle that I have been using for the last 30 years - the Regal Girardi. I managed to get an almost NOS example from an ebay specialist in Switzerland to replace my aged and very worn original.

Anyone want a Specialized Power?
Expert version with Ti rails, 155mm width. Fitted, one ride, one bit of fiddling, one decision that I prefer my old Romin.
£70

What's my best bet for try-before-you-buy saddle options? I like Condor's scheme of trying one out for two weeks, but I'd end up paying full retail (e.g.) £120 on a Brooks Cambium, when you can get one online for a lot less. Are there similar schemes from retailers charging more reasonable prices? Or does anyone have a Brooks Cambium C17 Carved that I could try? :)

Before I offer this up in the classifieds, anyone (weight weenies / Hill climbers / buyers) want a full carbon Selle Italia SLR Tekno Flow? Done a couple of hundred km at the most. A stonking 90grams with a £309RRP. One rear corner with some slight abrasions (doesn't worry me and doubt it would bother you).
£100.00? Don't want to post, first in with money etc

They're pretty different. The Phenom is made for mtb riding so more upright whereas the Power is more semi-time trial style so for a more aggressive position.
