ffs (lower case because its not that annoying)
Why on different nights, bit silly, it's all your wife and her birthdays fault isn't it? -
• #135
no
they are two different things, with different people interested in one, the other, or both.
-
• #136
Really? well i'm sure thats fine for people who live around the corner from the pub, but two trips on concurrent nights for me is too much.
I think i'll have to catch up on the notes from tonight on tomorrow nights meeting. Although I can't see that different people will be involved in both. -
• #137
B does make a good point. Roxy/Mike, is there any chance of doing the EBPC stuff at tonights meeting. Most of the same people are going to be involved.

OK that's great with me. Tonight after the LBPA meeting it is.
That will make for a long night, but it's better for me. Let's not all be wasted by the time we get to the Championship talk! The original reason it was for tomorrow is that tonight we won't officially know whether other cities are bidding on the EHBPC, but I think we already have a pretty good idea.
So tonight, PLEASE come with loads of ideas, questions, comments, and an idea of what you want to work on in regards to the EHBPC's.

Personally, I would be happier trying to keep the 2 things seperate, but I can see the point in combining them.
My experience of meetings is that people find it hard to keep their attention focused for more than 45 minutes. Therefore I reckon that we ought to break tonight's meeting into two sessions of 45 minutes, with a 15 minute break at around 9pm.

sounds like a good suggestion bill!

I definitely prefer the idea of diong both tonight as it'll free up tomorrow to actually play some polo.

You can also try the Betsy Trotwood on Farringdon Lane, around the corner from the Horseshoe. They have an upstairs without a bar that has been used for LBMA meetings.
