Whats the best way to sort out your sleeping pattern? I don't want to take sleeping tablets but it seems to be the only way I can go a whole night without waking up at a stupid hour after very little sleep!
-

Don't go to sleep for one night, making yourself quite tired. Then go to bead at a normal time like 9 or 10pm. Completely freaks the body out but then you try and set the new pattern.

Bollocks! Just got stuck on a job at work and ended up doing a 24hr shift, this is not good!
That would've worked perfectly if I didn't have to back in for 6 AND work tomorrow and sunday.
I think a new job will sort me out.
rant over..

I thought getting up early yesterday, cycling 18 miles and only eating one piece of toast and half a bowl of pasta all day would mean that I could get an early night and get my sleeping pattern back to normal.
No, I went to bed at 1 and couldn't sleep until 5, when it was getting light outside. And have only just woken up.
Do not want.

(Disclaimer: By no means I was insinuating that EEI can provide anyone with mdma.)

I slept for 1h, somewhere between 3 and 5. Feel like a raisin.

I've cashed in, just finished a 93 hour week, I thought since I'm not sleeping I'll do some over time and buy nice things while I have a week off!
Now I just need to get on a good pattern for this week so I can be sociable and then its back to nights the week after

Ha I'm on the first night of what's set to be a 72 hour week... add a 20 mile commute either side most days and this does not make for good sleepings.
My body has altogether forgotten what a "good pattern" ever felt like.

Me and sumo started watching a BBC documentary, he fell asleep within 5 minutes, I was enthralled right up to the last minute and now I'm all hyped up and can't sleep.
Also I had a nap at about 8pm when I was waiting for it to be broadcast live until 10.30 which probably didn't help.

BBC4 Great Thinkers series. It was the last of three episodes and they were all absolutely brilliant. I highly recommend.
