Inability to Sleep / Insomnia

Haven't been able to sleep for the last couple of months, the fact that one of my dogs just died doesn't help. Would really be up for a night ride if anyone else is.

I'm sorry. That definitely never helps.

I get anxious for no reason when trying to sleep, even when there's nothing imporant planned the next day. So I sometimes take Amtripyline which helps me to relax. The problem is when you take it, it knocks you out for much longer than your normal sleep.
Last night took one at 6am, woke up 4pm. Not impressed.

I try not to take like that as I'm scared shitless that I'll be asleep for days. Alcohol helps though :x

Maybe the reason you cant sleep is because you wake up so late?

I haven't moved on in lifestyle or beliefs since I was 18 so I still consider myself a teenager. Maybe once I graduate from uni I'll grow up a bit...OH WAIT no I just got onto an MA course...two more years of behaving like a responsibility-free idiot here I come
