I've been wearing these of late.... can't say they will make much sense later on into the winter, but a good intermediary...

anyone have a spare pair of those carhartt bmx gloves they were giving out at the fixed mag launch? in medium/large? can trade maybe or shell out GN.
i got a pair of these guys. they're fine for riding around at night now, but they're not warm -- the fingers have little ventilation holes. i also don't find them grippy enough.

... and just cuz no afternoon is complete without a bit of raphabashing, check these out! they're just a little bit buck rogers. want.

i use these. very warm. they only come out when temps drop under 5degC. tight fitting...which i like. some winter gloves look like they're made for snowboarding.
What gloves are these?
fred - did you find those sidi gloves in a medium?

I wear a pair of Icebreaker merino inner gloves under my fingerless gloves. They're perfect.

If you suffer from cold hands these look good and cheap too (no good for veterinarians I am afraid).

i agree with you. they fit perfect, keep your fingers warm and look great. only thing i don't like are those little pimpels because they easily tear off...

the problem with these ones above is the they don't last. i bought a pair last november and they already have a hole or two in the fingers

I've said it before and I'll say it again light weight construction gloves.
You can find them cheaper in some shops. They last well and have been fine on my commute for up to (max time 1hr 30 min with some diversions) down to about freezing. Longer rides may require more insulation though.
EDIT: difficult to find in small sizes though if you have micro hands or are a small female.

Dakine do a great pair of gloves called highwires. apparently they're BMX gloves but who cares. very warm, lightweight. good grip and seem to be durable.

My hands were freezing on Saturday. I ordered those Endura lobster gloves, has anyone got them? Are they as toasty warm as they look?

Bingo! Geoffrey Butler have them;
They are very similar to the Briko Magic gloves if you remember those?
I've corrected the spelling of the name for you. Try searching for that?
Gives a clue to the material used :)
