  • Whats the predicament? Paint finally all done?
Trying to think what would be the problem with the fork....

  • Tiny Explosions!
Recognise my username? What about Steinone?
    Another boardsie on here:P
There is allot of people riding fixed here, the ones I would know are all the Curriers from the alleycats but I see plenty more around who dont seem to be organised.
I didnt have any friends riding fixed untill the alleycats and meeting Nahguavkire on here:D.

I wondered if that was you :)

Yeah -I think there's a couple of boardsies around these parts -we need to start a DFGSS :)

  • Steerer length fail...thought I might get away with it even though it's on the short side but alas no...

Trying to trade with someone who hasn't cut theirs yet

  • Dfgss ftw!

  • I have talked to a few people about setting one up already, quite allot of interest..... Maybe a dfgss group on this would be a good start?
Just cut the excess off the top and bottom of the headtube hahaha. Home made lo-pro ftw.
I have a carbon fork on my friends Giant racer. Haha he is trying to sell it and its just lying in my shed...

For about two seconds I actually thought that would be a good idea, heh heh

What's the fork from the Giant like? Is it 1"?

  • Oh yeah, and lets start a Dublin group right now, I'm on it :D

  • Not a clue but I shall check, some pretty nice parts on it aswell as a nice(small) frame. I was thinking of splitting it and selling it for him, its one way of making money.....
Sure what else would you be doing in work?

  • Is the fork naked crosslaced Carbon or is it painted??

Don't fancy having to either strip or repaint one of those badboys!!

Polybikeuser has a sweet sounding Profile straight Carbon fork which he might swap so I'm counting on that one for the moment :D

I'd keep the frame and fork together if I were you too by the way, easier to sell that way I'd say

  • I know yeah but I would split for you;P
I think it is naked but has a sticker or two on it..

  • Oooh...sounds sexy, can you get a pic up?? Or I can just meet you on the weekend?

  • And join the group ya bum!!! We need five members and then we can start our own forum :)

  • Dont fancy cycling geared into town... and towning it up with two bikes isnt the best idea...
I have joined also.. A forum would be great, I hate having no info for here and paying those damn shipping costs.

  • Separated from English rule have we?
And ill definitely being so you fellows in the summer,
    Yay Ireland.

  • Join rosmal:D

Feck politics for now, lol we have our group hosted for free..

  • Ha, homerule for Dublin.

Our first photo is already added:D

  • Wait a second... scaryeire.... do you have something to do with breaking or dj-ing?

  • Just joined... that's 5 now :)

I'm living in London, was born and raised in Cork so i want nothing to do with those from the Pale. I may be around for easter if there's any rides on, if you start Dublin Beers I'll try an international grand slam.

  • Every internet forum has to have a guy form the People's Republic on... jaysus, it's like a law or something :)

3 years I lived in Bishopstown -nice part of the world Cork is

  • Well I figured that you would be interested, there is a load of people on Lfgss from Brighton etc. I thought you would be interested in something closer to home.

  • I see fixeds all the time in Dublin. But I used to live in D2 around Baggot, and worked their too, so I would, wouldn't I.

*"Unfortunately"* we don't have quite the hipster scene, or a velodrome, so besides curryers there's not many people riding "fixie" unless you go to dliadt or ncad (our art colleges) and then there are loads of "fixies", and chrome bags (I'm guilty too) which is pretty frikin schweet.

For such a tiny (essentially flat) city, very few people cycle, which is shameful.

    Peace

  • Ok, I'll join the group. The world Messenger Championships were on in Dublin in 2007, alot of nice bikes about then. The Ally Cats held there too have a my-space, i don't know if you're involved in that. but it's a good city for it.
