Weird forum dreams

I had a dream that the bloke who works in Bikefix on Lambs Conduit St was really Platini, whom I have never met. Then Will told me that Platini lived out of town so I knew that I didn't have the gift.

That was a dream; I've never met Sharkstar and Platini is the Mr Big behind Shop 14

I had a dream where I was dreaming about Velosolo being a cycle shop in Bournemouth that was run by a woman who was madly in love with me (I have no idea who velosolo is run by), not only that but the cycle shop was some kind of laundrette but hung it clothes on the bikes.

Now was this my sub concious trying to figure out what components I wanted for my new build while worrying about my need to do laundry? Who knows ... all I knew was I was playing monopoly.

After such a bizarre dream I actually knew what I needed to do ... does anyone else have dreams where you find the solutions to what is currently on your mind?

It seems like the forum has a thread for everything....

I'm not sure it counts as a forum dream but it's cycling related and came about (probably) as a result of my missing the birthday ride after I came off my bike and hit my head.

For some reason I had a great dream that I had started my own rival to critical mass but one predicated on encouraging people to commute. It happened every day and we all cycled together into central london with more and more people joining in on the way - like one of those LCC cycle tube things.

So far not particularly odd but the strange aspect was that the only reason everyone was following me as I'd built a fantastic sound system that played disco. We'd be cycling down the Embankment 'dancing' to the 'I Feel Love' and punching the air to the beat. The worst things about the dream were that in order to make the rides even more 'special' I wore a silver full length skin suit, silver balaclava and a spangy silver cape. Not a particularly good look to be honest.

It seems like the forum has a thread for everything....

I had a weird ass dream...
well not so weird, we were all on a London to Brighton.
That wasn't the weird part- the weird part was waking up in a proper cycling position.
Hands on the drops, legs mid rotate, back bent.

Had another one ... my bedroom was at work and I had to tidy my room before my boss turned up because Chavenal and Cancellara were coming round to play chess.

I had a wierd dream last night.
It started off with me living in a house just out of the city, these two guys dressed up as a trooper and a vampire kept trying to break in. One night i waited outside in full rolla kit and chased them away with a massive double handed sword.
so that finished, then: we were cycling out in the country, me, lots of mates including people wh ohate cycling and a load of forum people, i had to stop for some reason but when i caugth up to the group they werent there, they called me over to a bush and told me to hide quickly, dont know why. After that we arrived in something similar to the big brother house were we spent a very long time and i cant remember anything after that.

Last night I dreamt that Max and I went for a hike, which involved some pretty epic cliff hucks into streams, bear grylls style meals and bicycles.
what does this mean?

Dreamt I met lots of forumites but as talking bikes. Jimbob was a ginger bike who's forks were ginger whiskers.

And others but the jim one really freaked me.

No I get that a lot, but mainly just before I go to sleep...

I dreamt of a uprising of Vampires where I had to look after two young girls who were orphaned during this period. Was proper fucked up. Lots of running towards Daylight in panic etc etc. Was bizzarre.

And no, I didn't see Blade before I fell asleep.

Last night I dreamt that mikec and I had an acoustic gig to do in a hotel restaurant for new year's eve. We hadn't practiced at all and Mike had just got back from some exotic scuba diving holiday and hadn't picked up his guitar in ages. We had only 30 mins of material and my guitar was missing a string.

For some reason we were not bothered in the slightest and were sure it was going to be OK.

I woke up before we were due to start.

ziska was in my dream last night and we were competing in a tweed run triathalon on either the isle of wight or the isle of man. it wasnt a race.
