Were Tony Da Foney and Witcomb in evidence?
I think we need to know... -
• #53
Not this year as far as I know. I certainly didn't see them.

Ta!

Also spoke to the Bianchi rep who said that the Concept has been discontinued,
Probably due to the fact that it's massively popular and sells out at pre-order even before it hits the stores.
WTF!

it was quite good this year, as normal i ran out of patience and left without seeing blb stand or tokyo fixed gear.
i liked the shiny dia-tech bits by the halo/salsa stand...
also i took a shine to some of the more modern track frames (pro lite in particular).
Yup that pro lite was very nicely done - however on their website it looks very similar to the leader - wondering if its a generic rebranded track frame?

At the show working since Friday and I hate punters. I'm sure I passed a Witcomb stand.

dunno, the pro-lite looks a bit like the leader track I suppose, but then they both look like the planet x / on-one track frame too? they're propably from same factory.
however the pro lite on show had much much nicer welds, very smooooooth.
anyhow, i've asked to try the 60cm, see what they can do for me eh?
say hello next time you see me...

odd decals on the condors this year

Best bike for me was the BMC Time Machine track frame.

I found some crazy stuff in there: a cycle trailer tent that you tow behind your bike, and some real nice looking pure wood bars.

Charlie_The _Bikemonger, are you buying them in?

I must admit I liked the 2009 Lavoro

Interesting wheels, carbon?
-
• #70
fuck me, where do we start with that one..
the old lavoro had a tight back end and scooped seat tube.
that looks like a pista with a high BB and super steep head angle.
chainstays are too long, seat tube angle too slack. Geo looks terrible from that pic...rear half road bike, front half track bike after a collision..
that must be a proto, surely

contrast and compare
-
• #72
The main contrast is that the new one costs £4,500.
For a fixed wheel bike, that is a lot of money.
For any bike that is a lot of money.

I'm not wrong am I!

I may have mixed it up with this one
