Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the SE
Two, yes at least two (there might be more, but it is too early to say), of the members of the North drinks will appear at your drinks tonight to say hello and all that stuff.
If you don't want us there, then tell us to come to the Roebuck while you decide on the George, George and Mildred or the Madness of King George as pub options.
We'll be the ones that smell of "Highgate".
-
• #3364
you see what's happened?
all the other beers are laughing at us :-(

Because it appears that we can't seem to organize a piss up in pub.
I'll be at the George around 6:45pm

I say we settle on the George for tonight lest we attract too much in the way of outright mockery.
However if it takes me longer that 10 minutes to get served I will move to strike this pub from the list of possible SE destinations.

It shouldn't be too bad this month, as many people will probably still stay outside. It's only when the inside becomes so packed that you can't move that it becomes an annoyance.
-
• #3368
Sounds like I need to sneak a few drops of HTFU potion into everyones drinks so they can still deal with being outside in the bleak horrible winters eh :p

Yeah see you there.

We shall be trying the George, The Roebuck seems to have rather shot itself in the foot with regards to its "no discounts" policy.
I'd estimate that we probably spend circa £20 per head per night, with 10 of us there that's £200, or approx £860 per month/£10,320 per year. That's not bad money- and obviously if we feel the love then more of us turn up.
I think it's a little short sighted for places to turn us away but there you go.
Anyway- enough rambling. The George it is.
Shudders
Where is this George? Fucking directions/address please.
I am slightly pissed now. In preperation for tomorrow. Booyeah.
