  • The Royal Oak? good beer, occasionally get set upon by squiffy regulars though.

  • Am quite amused by my toilet visit being documented on the thread. I will regret this tomorrow.

  • Least you weren't almost arrested

  • Yeah, just left Kat, 6pt, Spybot and Rowhan in the Dover Castle. They looked like they had had enough though. It was a very good night.

  • it was. good to know that if when the roebuck closes at bizarre times in reaction to spurious dangers, SE goes on strong as ever :)

  • Oh shit...I forgot about my new american friends. I should really think about something to do with them tomorrow. They have my number so I cannot flounce.

meh. I still had more pointless bitterness to dull her with, but she'd disappeared. good luck tomorrow. may your humour stay strong and your spirits remain high.

(good night all. when the roebuck goes down we keep on drinking. well done)

  • In the words of my french friends.... Bof! Le I feel awful.

Bailed on the yanks. Knee is a bit crunchy and also had a feeling it would be a day of saccharine comments from the girl and bitchy comments from her brother.

Fitted new cranks instead. Now considering going out and treating myself to the new Garmin.

  • Front brake fits a treat Dan - it is indeed the one with the longer bolt. I'll drop off the rear one next Tue (+cash moneyz) unless you need it before?

  • No problem at all. I might be out of town on Tuesday, I feel the need to get out to the sticks and go riding for four or five days.

I'm in no rush for money or brake. Would be cool if you could keep hold of it until I'm back if thats alright with you. There is a chance I'll be back Tuesday afternoon though so I'll keep you informed.

  • Yeah that's fine with me mate, altho i cannot be held responsible if i get looted ;-)

May/may not see you next Tuesday then!

  • "looting" your own house and eBaying the contents doesn't count.

  • in my ongoing mission to shed possessions so I don't have to move with them I am freecycling some books. which I am posting here because I can bring them to SEs on Tuesday if anyone wants them. Wests appears to have turned into a pizza venture so not sure I'm going to make it anymore. Would Stratford be any use in the next week and a half?
