FGSS Bowling Night

I know this is no good to us up here in London but down in Cornwall were I come from they have ultra violet bowling on a saturday night accompanied by techno, great fun!

hence the suggestion for Bloomsbury, Finsbury is just too far away from Wimbledon! I'm dreaden to think how long it will take me to get there via the tube (fractured my left wrist due to an hit and run, no ride for 6 weeks).

Is the bowling at elephant and Castle still open. That is central and has decent lanes. It also has the ASBO feel to it...

Get the train/tube then. Wimbledon to Vauxhall by over ground then a quick whizz up the Victoria Line to Finsbury Park. Job's a good un.

Or, use bike + train for wimbledon <-> waterloo and ride waterloo <-> finsbury park.

Still in the research stage but at the moment Finsbury Park looks the best value in terms of playing time.

It is going to be big bucks at either of the Central venues proposed thus far.

Finsbury Park has excellent travel connections that drop you right at the door of the bowling alley. Two stops from Kings X on the Victoria and on the bikes it is basically a straight line Camden/Camden Rd/Seven Sisters.

I live in Stockwell so it would be in my best interests to have somewhere closer but at the moment I think Finsbury Bowl is the better choice.

Somebody research Elephant, that is not too far South.
