-
• #32
you lot should've all come to "Kingspin"....we even had the (cycling) celebs.....a
hoping it's at Rowans, round the corner from me.

so much better, average price too, the more people the cheaper.
Bloomsbury is perfect as it's central, thus anyone from north, south, east, west and upside down can go.

I'll take those odds.
So whats it going to be?
Is it worth starting a list before making a poll veering the thread to a debate about pointless threads on racism and resulting in a best bowling lanes List.I'll start

I'm in.
I really like the Bloomsbury Bowling lanes for a night out - great drinks, atmosphere, live music etc. (also just round the corner from my flat so have been there a lot.)
BUT - it is a crap place to bowl. the lanes are too short and not even flat. The balls are old and crappy. Live music makes it impossible to chat and bowl at the same time (lanes next to the stage). And, it is more expensive than other places to bowl.
Finsbury park all the way !

I'm with Mashton on this one
Finsbury has a certain je ne sais quoi
Been to Bloomsbury, good laugh and the DJ is pretty good too
Plus one can sometimes spot the occasional celebrity - Richard Bacon was all I got when I went though
