I'd be up for this- although I vote for Canada Water out of pure selfishness, it being a whole lot closer to me than Finsbury Park.

Just an idea of cost:
£5.34 each for an hour of bowling (£10.68 2hours)Assuming 30 people with some just drinking/spectators:
(from the Rowans website)
http://www.rowans.co.uk/advanced-bookings/group-upto-200
GROUPS 19 TO 200 PERSONS (4 LANES OR MORE)Bowling charged at hourly rate per lane. This includes admission fee and shoe hire.
Monday to Friday 10.30am to 6pm:
£27 per hour per lane
All other times:
£32 per hour per lane
How long do you need?
To calculate bowling times, per lane, you need to remember it takes approximately ten minutes for one person to complete one game. Each lane can only handle a maximum of six people.e.g. 6 people x 1 game x 10 minutes = 60 minutes
e.g. 5 people x 2 games x 10 minutes = 100 minutes -

Better food/music/blah....?
-
• #18
Better website.
Check prices?
:) -

All Star Lanes looks prohibitively expensive, food and alcohol.
But we could book two private lanes and room for twenty pounds each for 2 hours.
It would limit the actual bowling time someone got though.

• #20
this sounds cool, might be up for this
-
• #21
make it central though?
-
• #23
Find me a reasonably-priced bowling alley central that will give everyone a decent amount of time on the lane with good food and atmosphere, someone?
-
• #24
No price info on site, been there before?
-

All Star Lanes is pricey, and fairly poncy too, Bloomsbury ^ is loads better, and reasonably priced food etc.
Anybody Interested?
We could book out a few lanes in the Finsbury Park Bowling Alley.(or elsewhere)
Have a some food, a few drinks games and laughs.
I am thinking Saturday night late November on any weekend that doesn't clash with the 5th Bridges Ride.
