H Plus Son rims - are they any good?

yep, they have a monopoly on them. if you do find them anywhere else in this country, they wil have come from BLB originally.
they are £60 each.

btw 53/12 are fucking idiots, waited months for a custom velocity order, then said "oh sorry can't get it done, after 2 friggin months", idiots!

I was whinging at them too, apparently Velocity no longer do high polished Deep V's. Didn't even ring me and tell me, I'd been waiting for 2 months.

I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head there, B43's seem like great rims, I wouldn't trust H Plus sons what with all the rim failures they've had.

You can't judge based on one picture on the internet...i know loads of people who've had them ages with no failures.

i've heard a bit from wheelbuilders about flexy sidewalls and seen the endlessly recycled taco'd rim shot - but how many have you really actually seen?

The B43 rims are going to be £15 less than a H plus Son. That's one reason worth waiting for them.

H Plus Son = £66

B43 = £50

This is from the chaps at 53/12, they are the UK importers of all Velocity products. BLB will be adding a 20% charge for hipsterism and London weighting.
